Salon Policies & Client Guidelines

Welcome to Elegant Nail Durham! To ensure a relaxing, comfortable, and hygienic environment for all our valued clients and staff, please review our salon policies.

Appointments & Arrivals

  • On-Time Arrival: Please arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive your full service.
  • Grace Period: If you are running more than 10 minutes late, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but your service may need to be shortened, rescheduled, or adjusted to respect subsequent appointments.
  • Pre-Service Confirmation: To ensure you receive the exact look you want, please confirm your desired service options, colors, and nail art designs with your technician before your service begins.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Notice Period: We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to open the slot up to other waiting clients.
  • No-Shows & Late Cancellations: Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require a deposit for future bookings.

Service Guarantee & Repairs

  • Our Commitment: We take pride in our work—whether using dip powder (SNS), Gel-X, acrylics, builder gel, gel polish, or regular lacquer—and want you to love your nails.
  • Complimentary Repairs: If you experience any lifting, chipping, or issues within 5 days of your original service, please contact us immediately for a complimentary repair.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover accidental damage, breakage from rough handling, or issues arising from failure to follow proper aftercare instructions. Service fees are non-refundable.

Health, Safety & Salon Etiquette

  • Health Disclosures: For your safety and the safety of our team, please inform your technician prior to your service if you have any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions regarding your hands or feet. We reserve the right to decline service if a condition presents a health risk.
  • Atmosphere & Relaxation: To help maintain a peaceful and relaxing environment for everyone in the salon, please set cell phones to silent or vibrate, and use headphones for media playback.
  • Children's Safety: Children are welcome in the salon; however, for their safety around professional equipment and products, unsupervised children must be kept seated next to you at all times.
